Why I Do This Work
When I began my career in financial services, I saw a pattern.
Black women were advancing — earning more, leading more, carrying more — yet the financial advice available often failed to account for the realities they navigate.
Financial planning is rarely culturally aware.
It’s transactional.
It’s product‑driven.
And too often, it talks down to women who are already overperforming.
You deserve better.
I founded Financial Control Mastery (FCM) because Black professional women deserve more than generic advice. You deserve strategy that understands the weight you carry — for yourself, for your family, and often for your community.
This work is not about hype.
It’s not about chasing returns for status.
It’s about building structured, sustainable wealth that allows you to breathe.
Through FCM, I help Black women move from carrying it all alone to implementing a clear, values‑aligned financial strategy. Together, we build plans that work in real life — not just in spreadsheets.
We prepare intentionally for life’s “5 D’s” — death, disease, divorce, disability, and downsizing — not from fear, but from strength.
Because when Black women master their money, we don’t just protect ourselves.
We stabilize families.
We strengthen communities.
We create legacy.
